Розділ «Україніка», започаткований ДОУНБ з травня 2022 року пропонує інформацію про Україну, її народ, його історію, традиції та культуру, розбудову політичної нації, формування держави Україна, її видатних діячів. Матеріали про природне, географічне середовище, демографічний, економічний, соціальний, освітній, культурний і науковий потенціал нашої країни, здобутки української нації, її місце у світовому цивілізаційному розвитку.
Розділ поділений на кілька основних рубрик, які плануємо наповнювати матеріалами в довільному розташуванні. На початковому етапі розділ наповнюватимемо матеріалами, підготовленими співробітниками та симпатиками бібліотеки, але, сподіваємось, що незабаром до цієї роботи долучаться й інші автори – історики, мово- та літературознавці, етнографи, журналісти, і не тільки з міста Дніпра й області, а також і з інших місць України. Закликаємо і наших колег – бібліотекарів з інших книгозбірень нашої держави підтримати цей проєкт. Адже так важливо давати необхідну інформацію всім, хто потребує знань про рідну державу, про те, що таке Україна, як виник її народ, що відрізняє українців серед інших націй і що з ними об’єднує. Якими були наші предки і якими маємо бути ми. Як нам розбудовувати свою державу і перетворювати її на багату, сильну, квітучу країну, гідну бути однією з кращих у цьому світі.
